Terms of service
1. Who provides the service
The fydbek service (fydbek.com, app.fydbek.com, api.fydbek.com, mcp.fydbek.com and the widget on cdn.fydbek.com) is operated by codebros design s.r.o., company ID 19971419, Pustkovecká 363/41, Pustkovec, 708 00 Ostrava, Czech Republic ("we"). Contact: hello@fydbek.com.
These terms apply to organizations that create an account in fydbek (typically agencies, the "customer") and to everyone who uses the service, including invited clients and other guests.
2. What the service does
fydbek lets you collect feedback right on a website through a widget, manage it in a dashboard, discuss it in threads, and make it available to AI agents and other tools through an API and an MCP server.
3. Free beta
The service is currently in beta and free of charge. We give no availability guarantee or support response time. We may change features and limits. If we introduce paid plans, we will notify customers by email at least 30 days in advance. Customers who do not agree to pay can stop using the service and keep their data available or delete it until then.
4. Account and access
- You sign in with a link sent by email or with a Google account. You are responsible for the security of your email and Google account.
- The customer is responsible for whom it invites to the organization and projects and for their permissions.
- API tokens and agent connections are access credentials. The customer protects them like passwords and is responsible for actions taken with them. A leaked token must be revoked right away in the organization settings.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for anything illegal, to store malicious code, to circumvent its limits and security, for load testing without our agreement, or to send unsolicited invitations. The customer may embed the widget only on websites it is authorized to manage.
If these rules are broken, we may restrict or cancel access. Where circumstances allow, we warn you in advance.
6. Customer content and data
- Feedback, screenshots, comments and other content belong to the customer and its users. We use it only to provide the service.
- The customer is responsible for having a legal basis for collecting feedback on its websites and for informing its clients and other reporters about it.
- In screenshots the widget hides form field values and elements marked with the
data-fydbek-maskattribute. The customer is responsible for marking other sensitive data on its website. - We store data in the EU. The customer can delete projects or the whole organization at any time. Deleted items can be restored for 30 days, then the data is deleted permanently.
7. Processing personal data for the customer
For personal data in the customer's content, the customer is the controller and we are the processor under Art. 28 GDPR. This section is the data processing agreement between us and the customer:
- The subject is providing the fydbek service, for as long as it is used. It covers data that the customer and its users put into the service: identification and contact data of users and the content of feedback including screenshots and technical browser data.
- We process it only on the customer's instructions, which the customer gives by configuring and using the service.
- Only people bound by confidentiality have access to it, and only when it is necessary to operate the service.
- We protect the data with technical and organizational measures: encrypted transfer, separation of organizations' data, role-based access, hashed tokens and limits on sign-in attempts.
- We use Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, storage and email) as a sub-processor. We inform the customer in advance about planned changes of sub-processors and the customer may object.
- We help the customer handle data subject requests and meet its obligations under Art. 32 to 36 GDPR. We notify the customer of a personal data breach without undue delay.
- When the service is no longer used, we delete the data, at the latest 30 days after the organization is deleted. The customer can request the data before deletion.
- We provide the customer with the information needed to demonstrate these obligations.
Agents and tools that the customer connects to fydbek (for example Claude, ChatGPT or a task tracker) are chosen by the customer. They are not our sub-processors and the customer is responsible for sharing data with them. Details are in the privacy policy.
8. Liability
We provide the service as is and free of charge. We are not liable for lost profit, data loss or other indirect damage caused by its use or outage. This limitation does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, or to harm to health. We recommend exporting important feedback to your own tools, for example through MCP.
9. Termination
You can stop using the service at any time and delete the organization in its settings. We can end the service with at least 30 days' notice, or without notice if these terms are broken.
10. Changes and governing law
We may change these terms. We announce significant changes by email or in the dashboard at least 14 days in advance. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you agree with it.
These terms are governed by Czech law. Disputes are resolved by Czech courts.
